The IEEE PES Region 8 R8 In-person Training for SBC Leaders successfully concluded at
Dubrovnik, Croatia, along with IEEE PES ISGT Europe from October 14-17. The full-day
training was a resounding success, offering students an immersive experience in the Power and
Energy Society. Participants also had the valuable opportunity to engage directly with
professional chapter chairs. A total of 12 outstanding students from across Region 8 (Europe,
Middle East and Africa) were selected to attend this impactful session.
